Every garden is unique in their own way meaning that every garden will require their own style of water feature should you wish to add a water feature to your finished project. The sound of water adds a tranquil feel to your garden whilst adding style, character and that extra depth.
Contemporary Garden
A contemporary garden is very sleek, stylish and modern. This garden involves clean cut lines and a neutral colour scheme including such things as white spot lights or uplights and straight cut natural paving. A very popular choice of paving for a contemporary garden is our silver grey natural granite paving as it is very modern, clean cut and bright in colour. To stick with this theme the water feature of choice is usually a granite water feature, a stainless steel water feature or a water blade. (Examples in the main picture. Cottage Garden
A typical cottage garden is very natural and rustic. The planting consists of overgrown shrubs and the paving is commonly tumbled with rough edges. For the water feature for a cottage garden it is recommended to make sure that the water feature blends in to the style of this garden. Our choice would be a natural rock water feature or a copper tree as both of these water features stick with the natural and rustic look of a cottage garden.
Japanese Garden
A Japanese garden consists of plants such as bamboos, acers & azaleas. Bamboo style panels or fencing, stepping stones and natural rocks is commonly used also. The main theme of a Japanese garden is tranquillity & serenity to give the garden a sense of calmness. To stick with this theme we would recommend a slow flowing stream. You can build your own stream using pond liner and natural rockery or we have a resin stream which is extremely efficient, convenient and effective. Another option for a Japanese garden is one of our copper trees. The copper tree blends in to the Japanese garden whilst giving you the gorgeous sound of trickling water.
